Tapered runners deliver ideal airflow into the intake valve. A properly constructed tapered runner will increase air speed into the intake port on the cylinder head. The increase in air speed promotes chamber filling which in turn provides better combustion and produces more power. Our tapered runners are made to order, and designed to the customers application to give the best performance.

Transitions
Transitions from intercooler tubes are primarily made using silicone connectors. The problem with silicone connectors is that the connection made between the two tubes allows for a disruption of airflow. Transitions are generally used at throttle bodies or at the turbo compressor housing. The gradual change from the tubing diameter to the smaller or larger diameter provides lower flow losses.
